Carnival Miracle Begins Cruises from Galveston, Expanding Carnival’s Texas Presence
Carnival Miracle made its debut in Galveston, Texas, on Wednesday morning, marking the start of a new chapter for Carnival Cruise Line’s expansion in the Lone Star State. With this arrival, Carnival becomes the first and only cruise line to station four ships in Galveston, joining the Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze, and the upcoming Carnival Jubilee at this popular port.
During her inaugural season, Carnival Miracle will embark on 18 cruises, offering a variety of itineraries ranging from four to twelve days. Passengers can look forward to exploring stunning destinations across the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean, as well as The Bahamas and even the Panama Canal.
“Galveston continues to grow in popularity with our guests. Adding a fourth Carnival ship to homeport in this great city gives our guests expanded choices, especially with the upcoming longer cruises Carnival Miracle will sail, which are ideal for those who want to experience a wider variety of beautiful ports of call and enjoy more time at sea,” said Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival.
Carnival Miracle’s stay in Galveston will last through the spring before she reposition to Europe for the summer season. Carnival Legend will then take her place, relocating from San Francisco after completing Alaskan sailings. In 2026, Carnival Miracle will return to Galveston after her summer voyages to Alaska from Seattle.
This expansion reflects Carnival’s continued commitment to offering more cruise options from Galveston, solidifying its place as a top cruise destination.
